Hi everyone! I don't know what it is about wearing the colours red, white and blue but I always feel so playful and confident when I do. Without screaming out 'The 4th of July' these three strong colours create an immediate statement when worn together. I particularly love how this classic group of colours is not restricted to seasons or age.

Stealing Your Boyfriend's Shirt

I know I'm definitely not the first person to say this, but I love how sexy a woman can look in a man's shirt. Raid your partners wardrobe for his shirt, simply roll up the cuffs, throw on a pair of jeans and add a feminine piece of jewellery, heels and 'Ta Da' you have created a chic and sexy look.  

I also love the 'boyfriend shirt' worn in a corporate look. Tuck the shirt into a high waisted pencil line skirt or cropped trousers and you'll have heads turning. You will see below I have styled my husband Dusty's shirt with my skinny jeans and to create a more feminine feel I accessorised with a fun clutch bag, necklace and heels.  I encourage you all to play dress ups in your partners closet and see how you like it!

Dressing up a Kaftan

Hi everyone! I was looking through my vintage collection and came across this quaint kaftan passed on to me by my mother. I felt inspired to dress it up for a dinner date and teamed it with my gold sandals and clutch. There is something very special about wearing a piece that my mother wore when she was young in the 60's.  

I find kaftans create an effortlessly glamorous look. Today there are so many interpretations of the kaftan, varying in length, fabric and embellishments. They can be styled in an elegant manner or a more relaxed 'Boho' feel. Below I've styled options of how to wear a kaftan.

Dressing For Love

Hi everyone! Well it's almost that time of year again to celebrate how much you love that special someone in your life,Valentine's Day. It's also an excuse to dress up flirty and sexy. I'm very traditional on this day and like to include the colour red in my Valentine's Day look. I also like the idea of celebrating your Valentine by wearing something they have bought for you or even adding a personalised piece of jewellery or locket with their picture in it. Corporate In Cropped Trousers

Hi everyone! Whilst wandering through the CBD during the week, I noticed a mix of dull and mundane fashion worn by some working women. I understand that certain professions have strict dress codes but for those who don't, I say add a bit of colour and excitement to your work look.

I believe that colours and prints shouldn't be avoided in the workplace. I also feel it is very important to wear an appropriate fit and length. Try not to go for skin tight skirts/dresses, save them for the weekend.  The fit of your work outfit is essential. Most importantly, do not expose too much cleavage...to many men's dismay. Leave your girls hidden until maybe Friday night drinks…

I thought I'd share with you an easy way to jazz up a work outfit and that is with 'printed cropped trousers/capris.' Worn with a blouse tucked in and fitted coat or jacket, this look can make quite the statement. I have styled a corporate look below including my new Topshop spotted trousers with two different jacket options. The black being a more conservative look and the orange cardigan creating a more preppy and slightly more casual look.
