Celebrating the Jeanswest new store

Hello lovely people. I was so excited to be invited to collaborate with Jeanswest and help spread the news about their first Victorian Flagship Icon store at Highpoint shopping centre. The store is a new larger format which boasts the latest customer friendly design, technology and advanced features for the ultimate shopping experience. I visited the new store and was overwhelmed by the generous and friendly customer service. What I love about Jeanswest is it's versatile and reliable collections for men, women, children and they even have a maternity range. They provide those every day pieces, the must have staples of every wardrobe that ensure you can pull together cohesive looks and the Jeanswest price point can't be matched.

Their summer collection provides fresh prints with a feminine colour palette.

I was lucky enough to style some looks from Jeanswest in preparation for summer. I know I am going to wear these to death. I will be sharing more looks throughout the week so stay tuned.

Have a little fun with fashion

Hi everyone! I wanted to encourage you all to have a little fun with your style so I am sharing the look below. I always ensure my styling clients first of all understand their body type and dress accordingly and secondly encourage them to never be afraid of experimenting with new styles. With so much inspiration accessible through social media and fashion blogs/sites, we are exposed to new ideas and interpretations of trends everywhere we look. I think my obsession with fashion stems from the creative process of pulling together looks and expressing a point of view through the visual aesthetic. Your style can separate you from others.

I bought this 'Coke' themed tee shirt in Ireland this year I had the intention of wearing it to the gym but later thought why not have a bit of fun and style it for a night out. I tried something new with my hair to dress up the look and the result was a new visual style I haven't tried before.

LEATHER BIKER JACKET

Hello lovely people! I have been meaning to post my leather biker jacket for quite some time now. I've been wearing it to death as it seems to be the only jacket of mine that fights off the cold. It took me a while to find the perfect fit as I found most biker jackets wore me as apposed to me wearing them. It wasn't until I traveled to Amsterdam that I found my perfect match. It seemed like everyone was wearing a leather biker jacket so I was inspired to find my own. After navigating for hours in the shopping district of 'The Nine Streets' both Dusty and I came home with some bags full of goodies including my leather jacket below. The label is goosecraft which specialises in leather fashion for men and women. As soon as I touched the leather I just knew it was meant for me.

The options are endless when styling a leather jacket biker jacket and are a great way to add some edge. You can style them with a more feminine approach or simply throw them over a tee-shirt and trousers to create that effortlessly cool effect.

MIDI SKIRTS

Hi everyone! I can't believe the last time I posted about Midi skirt's was in 2011 in my MAD FOR MIDI AND MAXI post. How time flies. With new hair and a slightly more refined approach to this trend, I post again on this everlasting piece. However, now midi skirts are celebrated through thick textiles allowing for that full 1950's inspired silhouette. I love this style because it screams out elegance and femininity.
When styling your midi skirt I particularly love to wear cropped knits, or crop tops under a biker jacket. Turtle necks are also a dream match or why not team with a white buttoned up blouse for a more refined aesthetic. Accessorise with an ankle strap or pointed toe heel.
I bought this midi skirt from H&M in Amsterdam. I fell in love with the surprising choice of fabric and delicate hand beading. My turtle neck crop top is from sheinside.com.
