The chunky knit sweater

This week Melbourne was introduced to Autumn with downpours of rain and strong winds. We were immediately forced to say goodbye to our summer dresses and quickly reunite with our winter coats. As much as I love summer, I am so excited to be entering the cooler seasons. I love winter fashion. I love to design for winter and I love to dress for winter. I know it's the more expensive season as we purchase our new winter boots and coats, but it all becomes worth it when you have the ability to style  layered, luscious, rich textured looks.


A hot trend entering fall and winter collections is the chunky knitted sweater. It is the perfect transition into the cooler temperatures. You can team your knitted sweater with a contrasting feminine skirt,  skinny leg jeans or over a soft flowing dress. I have styled three thick sweater looks below. I particularly love to combine thick sweaters with high collared shirts or by adding a winter coat.
